Our Advanced Array of Lasers make Tattoo Removal Easier Than Ever
Do you have ink that you no longer find attractive? We’re excited by the opportunity to help you release what you’re ready to let go of and start fresh. We use PicoSure® laser treatment for our tattoo removal treatments. Picosecond pulse duration, which breaks the ink into tiny dust-like particles and makes it available for the lymphatic system to remove it, makes it a safer, faster, more effective, and more affordable way to remove body ink than more traditional laser methods. Drs. Wilson, Raby and Sowell have almost 75 years of collective experience removing tattoos with various lasers. Give us a call to start this liberating process today.
What Does it Do?
PicoSure® works with your body to remove unwanted tattoo ink. It’s the first picosecond laser in the world, and the only advanced laser that has PressureWave technology. PicoSure® targets tattoo ink by delivering laser energy to the area, causing a break up of the ink particles, but without harming any surrounding tissue. This method oftentimes requires less treatments than any traditional tattoo removal lasers.

How Does it Work?
You might think that the laser is what is removing your tattoo ink, but in all actuality it’s your body with a little help from PressureWave Technology. During your treatment, PicoSure® delivers pulses that are so rapid they are considered ultra-short pulses. This causes a change in pressure that breaks the ink down into tiny particles. These ink particles are then absorbed by a critical part of your body’s immune system, the lymphatic system, and eliminated naturally. PicoSure® delivers the right amount of energy to the surface of your skin and shatters the ink, then your body does the rest. Whereas traditional lasers heat the tattoo ink quickly, causing it to fracture and possibly damage the surrounding tissue. PicoSure® works great on all tattoo ink colors.

What To Expect
The feeling of tattoo removal is commonly described as similar to the feeling of getting a tattoo. However, some patients may feel more discomfort than others. The process is quick, about 10-20 minutes for a standard size tattoo. The number of treatments, and overall treatment plan will vary for each patient. Patients tend to have no downtime or recovery after the tattoo removal process.
